Last week, in4mo attended its first “Bygg Reis Deg” event in Norway (16 to 19th October 2019).
The event is one of the biggest construction tradeshows in Europe, and the 2019 edition didn’t disappoint: 43 592 visitors over 4 days, 530 exhibitors from 19 nations, over 20 500 m2 of exhibition area.(Bygg Reis Deg)
The entire construction industry was represented, from architecture practices to material and power tools vendors and everything in between. It included software solution providers like construction design software vendors, BIM specialists and many more, and of course in4mo.
For in4mo, attending Bygg Reis Deg 2019 made perfect sense. We are already well known in the property insurance claims segment in Norway providing solutions to both insurance companies and their inspection and damage restoration partners. Our cost calculation offering is being rapidly adopted throughout the country and our Contractor Pro solution is already used successfully in the market.
On one hand, we felt that it was the right time to attend and showcase to the Norwegian property restoration and renovation companies how our Contractor pro solution can address their needs.
On the other, we realized that for a company like in4mo, attending a new trade show can be uncertain and a bit of a gamble:
– Will the event be relevant for our customers and prospects?
– Will there be enough traffic around our stand?
– Will the marketing be ready in time?
– Will our stand material arrive in one piece?
– Will our demos work?
After intense preparations, final adjustments to our tradeshow material and overcoming a few mishaps on our way to the event, Johan and I were ready for the first visitors just as Bygg Reis Deg opened its doors on Tuesday morning 10:00.
Throughout the event, the in4mo stand was super busy. Johan was a demo king with more than 70 Contractor Pro demonstrations, and we engaged with over 120 visitors.
We had deep conversations with visitors eager to find out what our solution could do for them.
We appreciated the feedback we received from our existing customers pointing out what they liked about our solution and where we could become even better.
Johan and I came back from the event a bit tired, full of ideas and new connections.
Overall, we had a great time and look forward to attending Bygg Reis Deg 2021!
