To be set as unavailable the user must have a deputy defined in the system. This deputy will receive chat and email notifications directed to the unavailable user for as long as this user is set as unavailable. A user can select their deputy under their profile (by clicking on your own name in the top menu in the portal), under \u2018Profile\u2019. It is also here in the user\u2019s profile that the user can set themselves as unavailable.
