For instance, how will an <strong>insurance company<\/strong> compensate a damage claim when rebuilding your house is cheaper than repairing it?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9071 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/in4mo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/01\/3D.jpg\" alt=\"3D house\" width=\"280\" height=\"280\" \/>This <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/05\/08\/how-3d-printing-is-revolutionizing-the-housing-industry\/?guccounter=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TechCrunch article<\/a> gives us a good view of the most recent development in housing 3D printing.<\/p>\n<p>The main disruption comes from being able to erect a building a lot faster and cheaper than with traditional methods: 24 hours build time and 4000USD cost must be scary numbers for any traditional builder out there.<\/p>\n<p>This is currently a low-end disruption, aiming to make access to decent housing affordable for the masses.<br \/>\nWhich makes perfect sense when the problem to be solved is the lack of decent dwellings for a growing world population.<\/p>\n<p>For the moment, the current technology seems to limit house 3D printing to small habitation units.
